At our first pre season session on Thursday evening, we announced our new 1st XI Captain.
Please join us in congratulating James Stedman on being named 1st XI skipper for the 2024/25 season!
James has been a fantastic addition to the club since arriving in 2020, with massive contributions on and off the field. He also joined the club's committee last season and is really stepping up around the club.
As the 1st XI keeper, James has the best seat in the house and will really bring a lot to the captaincy. We can't wait to see him lead the 1's this season.
We would also like to thank outgoing skipper Jimmy McElgunn who has taken a step back from the role after leading the side for the last 3 seasons. Jimmy did a great job with the team, reaching two semi finals and really making the 1's a force to be reckoned with again. Jimmy will also be back in Burnley colours this season and we're really looking forward to seeing him back out on the ground.
